No joke, a figure-8 superspeedway would be an epic NASCAR venue. It will satisfy the guys who want to see Sprint Cup cars do right turns more often and will certainly become one hell of a challenge to drivers.
I also want to have something like that in my backyard so I have a race track for some Race-Tin RC or much smaller RC cars.

That’s what I missed most from GTA 5
It’s even in LS, Rockstar has no damn excuse.

The Autódromo Juan Manuel Fangio in Balcarce, Argenitna (birthplace of the legend) features an overpass like in a figure 8... I like it, even though it can be kind of tricky for drivers to go in at speed and runoff areas in front are almost null.
It’s a nice, fast circuit, built on the side of a hill, it features lots of changes in elevation.

That’s some circuit you got there.
Saved to my roster of race cars for a SCUD Race remake whose article God knows when I’ll complete.

It originally didn’t feature that chicane marked as 16-17, so from curve 13 to curve 3 it would be almost a mile under acceleration... obviously a death wish, but Argentinians be crazy.
It’s featured in the ACTC version or RFactor... tricky as hell in those NASCAR-type cars they use. Lots of snap-oversteer, little jumps and tight curves after downhill areas. Kinda like Bathurst in Aussieland.

Found the rFactor track. Holy shit that lack of runoff. Feels like a street circuit, or the middle bit of Mt. Panorama.

A mile of straight wouldn’t be a problem in another track with big runoff (DRS zone-worthy), but this one’s different.

Ever since I saw that NASCAR Racers cartoon when I was a kid, I’ve always wanted someone to build a track like that. If I ever win the lottery or something, I’m building one.

Yes, I think it had more to do with getting in and out of boxes under top speed traffic, Argentinian race series feature (or at least used to) a lot of cars in tight packs. V8s, RWD and old platforms. Add Argentinians to the mix.
It’s a pretty old circuit that has seen its fair share of crashes, there was a huge one in 2011 were sadly a driver perished after crashing in the underpass section, in part because of the lack of runoff.
